| I'm here, back in Norman at my apartment. It is going to be super cute once the other two roommates get here and we can decorate. It was so much easier moving in here than the dorms, not even that it was crowded when I moved into the dorms but there is just so much more space to move around (obviously), it was a lot dirtier than I thought it was going to be though--nail holes everywhere, dust setting everywhere, brown soles on my socks after walking on the un-shampooed carpet (um ew!) so ya know, a work in progress for sure decorating wise and cleaning wise (its only a year old though!)...For some reason, it was harder saying goodbye to my family yesterday-really hard-I know I'll see them every few weeks but still, gotta get back in the college groove again...went over to Kelsey's new condo at the Edge and caught up with a few people, so that was great fun...well thats all, time for Walmart and here are some pics for ya--
and Greg-thanks for helping me unpack and set all of my assembly stuff up...I love you and hope your first day of school went well!
| Great news--I watched the Total Knee Replacement today and did not fate or vomit (or freeze to death in the 57 degree OR :) )--they said if I could handle that I could pretty much handle anything so I'm good to go for nursing (*crosses fingers*). It was definitely one of the coolest things I've ever had the opportunity to see--it was so weird though because before they had the metal implant in place and when half of the patient's kneecap and bone from his femur and tibia were gone, it really did not look like a leg anymore...then the metal insert was cemented in and it looked like part of a sci-fi movie...weird...anyway, I think one of my two years between my bachelors and my masters I would like to be a surgery nurse...okay this ended up longer than I thought but ya know, its just so exciting!

| It came--my last day of work. It was quite hard to leave actually. I guess the environment was just so different from any other job I've worked--40 hours a week for almost three months I was with these 60+ people! They were all so kind too--a few of them took me to Goldie's for lunch, the front desk made a care package for my roomies and me, and the phone room girls gave me a $30 giftcard to Bath and Body! It was so so kind and I really thank God for giving me a job that has taught me so much not only in the medical and business sense, but also about what I really crave for my future. Seriously though--I will miss seeing these people everyday and working a "normal" work week. I never dreaded going into work like I did with my previous jobs--everyone was so much fun. SO if anyone needs a job next summer, we could definitely use ya (in the 2 year transition to electronic medical records--really, but I know, that's a long time from now...) OKAY, enough reflection...moving on...
My parents got back from New Orleans today which was great...I will be completely bored most of next week, so call me if you want to hang out before everyone scatters across the country-- Jenny--I will definitely call ya! Have a great weekend!

| 80s mood...they seemed so much happier then...
this weekend was great--i got off of work on friday at 1 instead of 5, took my last test at the metro campus, then spent the weekend at my cousin's condo at shangri-la...it was so peaceful and relaxing, my mom, cousin, and i spent saturday boating around grand, came in before the storm, ate at the best gourmet restaurant ever, then capped it off with an old movie-If a Man Answers with Sandra Dee and Bobby Darrin...now i'm home bored for the first time all summer
i got my reserve papers with my apartment number and everything last week too--i'm soo excited, this year is going to be even better than last year, i can already tell and last year was amazing...one more exciting thing-before i leave for norman, i may get to see a total knee or total hip replacement sx by one of the surgeons at work!!! okay, enough boredom... i'll be here all day, every day the week of the 8th so if you want to do anything, call me...have a great week!
